‘Preacher’ To End After Upcoming Fourth Season

Sadly, Preacher is coming to an end.

Executive producer Seth Rogen broke the news on Twitter last night, announcing Preacher will finish after it’s the fourth and final season, which is set to return on August 4, 2019. The series was based on the popular comic book series of the same name, written by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.

Watch Rogen’s season four announcement below:

The series was initially renewed for a 10-episode run back in November of last year but after Rogen and Evan Goldberg moved their production company from Sony TV to Lionsgate, the likelihood of the series continuing after it’s the fourth season seem likely. That said, it’s worth noting that the Preacher was NOT canceled, so don’t get upset with AMC for this one.
