Norman Reedus Teases Huge ‘Walking Dead’ Easter Egg in Season Six

The television juggernaut that is The Walking Dead returns this weekend, and everyone’s favorite zombie killing redneck Daryl Dixon (played by Norman Reedus) is telling fans to pay close attention.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reedus said there is a big Daryl/Carol Easter egg coming up:

There’s one particularly beautiful, gruesome zombie — he’s got a lot of green moss on him. But when you see that episode — it’s in Episode 6, I think, that particular zombie — something happens, and it harks back to a Daryl and Carol moment. I’m going to let you just guess what that could be, but there are Easter eggs in some of those zombies, so you’ll see it in Episode 6.

Many fans have been clamoring for Daryl and Carol to start that romantic relationship they have flirted with for a while now. Or maybe it has something do to with Sophia, Carol’s daughter. Daryl was the one who spent all his waking hours looking for Sophia when she was lost in season two, and seemed the take her death harder than just about everyone else.

Either way, we can’t wait to see what happens to this bad ass power couple (or non-couple) as season six progresses. The season premiere is Sunday night on AMC, but you already knew that.
