Norman Reedus Says Fans Should Be “Very Worried About Daryl” Going Into ‘The Walking Dead’ Season Finale

Fans of the The Walking Dead lost their collective minds last night after the shocking events of season six’s penultimate episode, as the fate of fan-favorite character Daryl Dixon was left hanging in the balance heading into next week’s finale. Unfortunately, recent comments from Norman Reedus aren’t helping quell fears that Daryl may not be long for this world.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Reedus was careful not to give too much away about the finale, but admitted that viewers, “should be very worried about Daryl.”

“You don’t know where he [Dwight] shoots him but that definitely is his [Daryl’s] blood there,” said Reedus. “We’re really good about throwing you off base.”

So we know that Daryl has definitely been shot, but whether or not the long-awaited/feared arrival of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the finale will spell certain doom for the character is difficult to say at this point. We know that Negan will kill off a major character, but considering the sheer number of kidnappings that took place on last night’s episode, it really could be anyone at this point.

Judging by Reedus’s comments and our own predictions on the matter though, things really aren’t looking good for Daryl right now. After all, Reedus refers to the finale as the, “the most hardcore episode you’ve ever seen on the show.” All bets are off on The Walking Dead and nobody is safe, not even Daryl.
