New ‘Game of Thrones’ Theory About Sansa Is Probably Correct (And Depressing)

Things have been looking up for Sansa Stark recently on Game of Thrones. She not only escaped her sadistic husband/captor Ramsay Bolton, but has also reunited with her half-brother Jon and is currently busy trying to scrape together an army to exact sweet, sweet revenge against said husband. Unfortunately, some viewers believe that Sansa is (literally) carrying around a bit of bad news that could have a profound impact on her current comeback tour.

During the scene with Littlefinger in the most recent episode, “The Door,” Sansa asks “What do you think he [Ramsay] did to me?” as a dumbfounded Littlefinger looks on. She elaborated further, explaining that she, “can still feel it. I don’t mean ‘in my tender heart, it still pains me so.’ I can still feel what did, in my body, standing here, right now.” That last comment in particular has convinced some viewers that Sansa is pregnant with Ramsay’s child.

Sadly, this is one of the most believable Game of Thrones theories to come along in awhile because there have definitely been signs that Sansa is with (demon) child. She is sporting a new dress and also seems to have a loss of appetite when it comes to eating the Watch’s food (to be fair though, no one likes the Watch’s food). There’s also that comment that she can “still feel right now” what Ramsay did to her, which could just be a reference to the fact that she’ll never be able to forget being raped, but also could be a literal reference to the baby inside her.

Obviously, we’ll have to wait to see if this theory holds water (no pun intended) but if true, well … it was a good few episodes of mild happiness for Sansa, at least. Most Game of Thrones characters don’t even get one.
