‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7: Danyerys Could Appear at Important Book Location

If you’re the kind of person who likes Game of Thrones  to be completely spoiler free, you should close this article right now (why did you even click it in the first place?). These are potential spoilers for Season Seven.

According to megafan site Watchers on the Wall, the next season of the hit HBO fantasy show could feature a location that hasn’t yet appeared on television:

In the A Song of Ice and Fire books, the Dragonpit is a massive old building on a hill in King’s Landing. Years before the story as we know it begins, the Dragonpit was used to house the dragons of the Targaryens. Ultimately it was destroyed, with only the ruins remaining.

The show has been seen filming near Italica, which are some Roman ruins found in Santiponce, Seville, Spain. Judging by this photo, the place could make a great Dragonpit.

With the Dragonpit being located in King’s Landing and Daenerys (and her dragons) on her way there, a massive clash is brewing over the Iron Throne.
