Game of Thrones: New Story Details Reveal Where Daenerys Is Going In Season 7

We’re still a long way off from the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones — it’s expected to come out sometime in June 2017 — but production on the epic HBO series is already getting underway. As IrishThrones reports (via Watchers On The Wall), there’s already activity happening in Corbet, Northern Ireland, the village that was used to film the siege of Riverrun last season.

While it’s fair to surmise from this news that we’ll be returning to the Riverlands at some point next season, the really interesting bit of season 7 speculation comes from a report by Watchers On The Wall, who claim that it comes from one of their most trusted sources. If you don’t want to know potential SPOILERS for season 7, it’s probably best that you don’t read any further.

Reportedly, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) will arrive at the Dragonpit in season 7. For those who don’t know, the Dragonpit is a giant old building that was used years ago to house the Targaryens’ dragons. Big deal, right? Daenerys going to a place of great historical significance to her family hardly seems like a big deal, but seeing as how the Dragonpit is located in King’s Landing, this is confirmation that Daenerys and her army will arrive in the capital at some point next season. Queen Cersei is going to be so pissed …
