‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Promotes Actor To Series Regular

For those of you who just can’t wait for the second season of AMC’s Walking Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead, which will almost certainly air in mid-2016 (no return date has been officially announced), you’ll be happy to know that a fan favorite character from the debut season will be around for a while longer. It has been reported that Colman Domingo, who played the suave, well-dressed prisoner Strand, has been promoted to a series regular, after appearing in half of the six first season episodes.

When the season finale aired, the survivors of the ongoing zombie infection in Los Angeles were holed up in Strand’s luxurious beachfront property, with suggestions that Strand has plans to ride out the disaster aboard his yacht, which is floating offshore. Whatever his true motivations are, it sounds like Strand will be a pivotal figure in the upcoming season, which is set to be 15 episodes in length. Source:
