It’s the third and final Smackdown-exclusive PPV of 2016, and we’re going out on a barn-burner, with Tables, Ladders, and Chairs! In the main event, AJ Styles defended the WWE World Championship in a TLC match against Dean Ambrose, but every other title on Smackdown was also on the line this evening! Here’s all the match results from TLC!
Live from Dallas, Texas
Pre-Show Match
– American Alpha, The Hype Bros, and Apollo Crews d. The Vaudevillains, The Ascension, and Curt Hawkins (Gable pinned Gotch, Grand Amplitude)
WWE TLC 2016
– Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton d. Heath Slater and Rhyno to win the Smackdown Tag Team Titles (Orton pinned Rhyno, RKO)
– Nikki Bella d. Carmella in a No DQ Match (pinfall, Rack Attack 2.0)
Postmatch, Carmella re-affirmed that she hadn’t attacked Nikki at Survivor Series, and blamed Natalya. Well, yeah, that’s pretty much who we thought it was in the first place.
– The Miz d. Dolph Zigger in a Ladder Match to retain the Intercontinental Title
– Baron Corbin d. Kalisto in a Chairs Match (pinfall, End of Days)
– Alexa Bliss d. Becky Lynch in a Tables Match to win the Smackdown Women’s Title
– AJ Styles d. Dean Ambrose in a TLC Match to retain the WWE World Title
During the match, James Ellsworth ran in, then turned on Dean Ambrose and shoved him off a ladder and through two tables at ringside, allowing Styles to win the match.
