While the tag team division in WWE has started to become more relevant recently, it will now have to do so with two of its teams short-handed for at least the next two months. This weekend, both Social Outcasts member Adam Rose and The Ascension’s Konnor were revealed to have violated the WWE Wellness Policy for the second time, which carries with it a mandatory sixty day suspension.
Rose and Konnor both received their first strike under the policy while in WWE’s developmental system, with Konnor’s happening all the way back in 2006. This is interesting because it suggests that violations under the policy do not get removed over time, make no differentiation between developmental and the main roster, and persist even if a Superstar leaves the company (Konnor was released from WWE in 2007 and returned in 2010). That could prove interesting in the future, given certain former Superstars that could one day return with two strikes to their name (Jeff Hardy and John Morrison among them).
