WWE Partners With BOOM! Studios For New Comic Series

After several aborted attempts in the past, WWE has once again teamed up with a comic book publisher in order to release a series of wrestling-related comics and graphic novels. This time, it’s BOOM! Studios, notable for its work with other licensed properties, including Farscape, Disney/Pixar, and several series based on popular movies such as Die Hard and 28 Days Later. The studio has announced that they will release six preview issues of the new WWE comics at San Diego Comic-Con in July, with notable artists such as Rob Guillory (CHEW) on board to provide their expertise. There is currently no timetable for when this new line of WWE comic books will be available in stores, but a couple of preview images have been released, one of John Cena, and a second, by Guillory, of The New Day.
