The Cruiserweight Division continues to heat up thanks to Neville’s attempts to destroy it, as well as the incredible shenanigans of Jack Gallagher, who challenged Ariya Daivari to a duel on this week’s episode! Find out what happened right here!
– Tony Nese d. Cedric Alexander (pinfall, palm strike)
Cedric was distracted after Alicia Fox was ejected from ringside, when Drew Gulak pretended that she had attacked him. Backstage after the match, Noam Dar hit on Fox, and she slapped him.
In a sit-down interview, Neville explained that he was angry at being discriminated against due to being from another country, and because he wasn’t asked to be part of the Cruiserweight Division initially.
– Mustafa Ali d. John Yurnet (pinfall, inverted 450 splash)
– Jack Gallagher d. Ariya Daivari in a duel when Daivari forfeited by running away
When given choice of weapons, Daivari chose a lead pipe, and Gallagher chose an umbrella. Daivari attempted to cheat during the traditional “stand back-to-back and take 10 steps” (actually, 5, due to the space limitations), but Gallagher got the upper hand through a combination of skilled use of an umbrella and strong headbutts.
– Neville d. Rich Swann (pinfall, Superplex)
Post-match, Neville beat up Swann some more, until referees pulled him off.
