It’s five days into 2017, so we can safely assume that roughly 95% of you have given up on your New Year’s Resolutions by now. That’s okay, it’s easy to get discouraged, but if you need some inspiration to keep going, take a look at this video. That would be 67-year-old and retired Ric Flair, who’s lived enough for two normal people and partied enough for five or six, deadlifting 285 pounds, in a video taken earlier this week. You’d think he was training for an in-ring return or something, but no, it’s just what he does as part of his regular workout. So, if he can stay in that kind of shape at his age, you should be able to do it too, right?
Of course, if your first instinct after watching that is to say “Well, I’m never going to be able to do that”, cancel your gym membership, and cuddle up with a large pepperoni pizza, well, we can’t blame you for that either. It’s what we went with, anyway.
