There are reports that not only will Orlando be hosting WrestleMania 33 at the Citrus Bowl (which has been confirmed by WWE), but the city will also be the location of a long-awaited physical WWE Hall of Fame. Allegedly, Universal Studios will be replacing their NBA City attraction (which is located outside the theme park) with a WWE-themed restaurant and museum, which is expected to house memorabilia from WWE history and may also act as an actual Hall of Fame. The location is expected to open in time for WrestleMania 33 in 2017.
This would be the second attempt by WWE to open a wrestling-themed restaurant, with the first being the ill-fated WWE New York in Times Square, which opened in 1999 and quietly closed four years later. Hopefully this latest venture will be more successful!
