Several New Names Rumored For 2017 WWE Hall of Fame

WWE hasn’t even begun announcing names for this year’s Hall of Fame class, but so far we’ve learned about two names that are said to be guaranteed locks for induction, those being Diamond Dallas Page and the late Rick Rude. However, according to rumors, there are several other names thought to be under heavy consideration for this year’s ceremony. Those names include:

– Christian
– The Natural Disasters
– William Regal

Of that list, Christian, as a multiple-time World Champion and decorated tag team wrestler, and Regal, one of the industry’s most respected veterans and current trainer and on-screen GM in NXT, make the most sense. However, don’t discount IRS, who is a five-time WWF Tag Team Champion, as well as part of the influential Windham-Rotunda wrestling dynasty that also includes current WWE Superstars Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt. And whether separately or as a unit, both Earthquake and Typhoon did have some impact on the industry, with the late Earthquake having a series of main events against Hulk Hogan, and Typhoon wearing a glittery Stormtrooper helmet and tripping through a wall that one time.

None of these names are in any way confirmed, but don’t be surprised if at least a few of them answer the call when the Hall of Fame ceremony gets underway on WrestleMania weekend!
