Samoa Joe Could Get “Monster Push” On Main Roster

While nothing is confirmed, and likely won’t be until it finally happens, all signs point to Samoa Joe making his presence felt on the main roster very soon, and likely as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match. After losing the NXT Championship at a live event in Osaka, then only wrestling a non-televised dark match at the most recent NXT tapings, which will take the promotion up to their TakeOver show in San Antonio the weekend of the Rumble, it seems all but certain that Joe is finished in NXT, and has gotten the call to the main roster. According to reports from the Wrestling Observer, Joe’s work in NXT has not gone un-noticed, and there may be plans in place for him to receive a “monster push” right out of the gate, and even a high-profile match at this year’s WrestleMania. Plans can always change, but it definitely seems like future looks bright for the Samoan Submission Machine!
