Ryback Claims He Was Supposed To Beat AJ Styles At WrestleMania 32

Former WWE Superstar Ryback has been fairly active since his WWE contract expired recently, and one of the things he’s apparently decided to put his time into is a podcast called “Conversations With The Big Guy”. In his debut episode, Ryback said a couple things that we just felt had to be noted, for our own amusement if nothing else.

Ryback said that he walked away from a three-year, $1.5 million offer that he felt wasn’t enough given what he’d done for the company. He also said that he never felt like he was the company’s guy and wondered why they even put the Intercontinental title on him in mid-2015. In addition, he claimed that the original plans for WrestleMania 32 were to have him face AJ Styles, and in what he says were Vince McMahon’s own words, “squash that little twerp”, and that he left the company because he felt he’d been lied to repeatedly about merchandising opportunities and his booking.
