It seems like every year, at least one major celebrity gets a viral invite to attend the annual Marine Corps Ball. And this year, despite trying to stay out of the spotlight after being viciously knocked out in her fight with Holly Holm, former UFC champion Ronda Rousey kept her promise and attended the event.
Jarrod Haschert was the bold marine who originally asked Rousey to attend, and she was certainly the star of the show. Social media started to light up with people snapping selfies with Rousey once she arrived at the event.

Rousey has been on the receiving end of a lot of hate lately, with her critics attacking her cocky attitude. She was even accused of “lube-shaming.” Seriously, look it up. It’s an actual thing. It’s nice to see her name back in the headlines for good things, because she really is one of the most incredible athletes — male or female — in the wold today.
If the rumors are to be believed, Rousey and Holm will face off in a rematch at UFC 200 in July 2016. In the meantime, she is planning to film a movie and apparently makes one marine’s wish come true.
