Fire up the rumor mill, because Hulkamania will never die!
Hulk Hogan has been out of the public eye, at least in terms of WWE programming, for almost two years now. The company basically fired the Hulkster after leaked audio surfaced of him making racist comments on the now infamous “adult video” obtained and published by Gawker Media.
Hogan responded by suing Gawker, and actually won a huge amount of money, forcing the company into bankruptcy. Since then, he’s kept his head down. Virtually everyone expects that the WWE will welcome him back into the fold eventually, it’s just a matter of when. According to Hogan’s upcoming schedule, it’s just slightly possible that WrestleMania 33 in Orlando could be the date.
Here are the facts: Hogan will be Orlando to open a second location of Hogan’s Beach, a retail store featuring Hogan merchandise, on Thursday, March 30. He will also be hanging around all week, from March 29 to April 4, to sign autographs for fans. His posted signing schedule has him working until 4:00 p.m. on April 2, which just happens to leave him free in the evening. WrestleMania 33 kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at the nearby Camping World Stadium (formally the Citrus Bowl).
We’re not saying Hogan is definitely showing up at WrestleMania or anything. But hey, he’ll be in the neighbourhood
