It is the most exciting time of the year for wrestling fans. WrestleMania typically marks the “season finale” for the year that was in WWE. There are always many twists and turns on the road to WrestleMania and this year is no different. Friendships tossed aside, disrespect for authority, injuries, title changes, and so much more has made up this crazy journey, and it is all about to come to an end.
Here is the official Goliath preview and predictions for WrestleMania 33.
Seth Rollins vs. Triple H
We have been waiting for this payoff since the very end of August. It took months before there was even mention by Seth that he wanted to get at HHH. When it finally happened it was obvious that their match up would take place at WrestleMania.
When Samoa Joe put the beat down on Seth the day after the Royal Rumble, there were legitimate concerns that Rollins was going to miss his second consecutive WrestleMania due to injury. There were rumblings that it may be a work, but Seth himself tweeted that it was real and he was off TV for almost 6 weeks before making an appearance. When he finally did show up unexpectedly, he received another beating, this time from HHH and the metal crutch that got him down to the ring.
It is great that they have been able to work the injury into the story with this non sanctioned stipulation, but make no mistake, if Seth was not cleared for action, he would not be wrestling.
We are all very excited that this match is actually going to happen but it is unfortunate that we didn’t get the nine weeks of build up between these two.
It is safe to say that there will be some interference. Samoa Joe has nothing to do this weekend so you can expect to see him at some point during this match. All signs are pointing to Finn Balor making his return very VERY soon, so it is possible that Finn make his presence known and comes to the aid of Rollins.
With Rollins missing last year and almost missing this year, with HHH being a part timer at best, expect the WWE to do Seth a solid and pick up the victory in what will likely be a grueling match.
