You may recall Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard having a cute Twitter exchange during Super Bowl. When the Atlanta Falcons were up 28-3, she tweeted “I knew Atlanta would win.” Some random guy offered a daring bet, saying that if the Patriots won he would get to take the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model on a date. Bouchard playfully agreed, since the game certainly looked all but over.
Then Tom Brady happened.
The Patriots came storming back with a record-setting comeback, winning the Super Bowl in overtime. Oops!
@geniebouchard if patriots win we go on a date?

Last night, Bouchard made good on poor sports gambling decisions. She treated 20-year-old student John Goehrke to courtside tickets to a Brooklyn Nets game

Seems like they had a good time. They even got to be interviewed together on TV during halftime. We wonder if John will land a second date? Either way, Bouchard learned a very valuable lesson about football betting:
Lesson learned. Never bet against Tom Brady
