Final Raw Before Roadblock Sees Ratings Slide Again

The holiday season is starting to take its toll on WWE’s ratings, as Raw dropped to a seven-week low on the night that The New Day ran a gauntlet of Triple Threat matches in order to secure the record as longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. The viewership and demographic ratings once again slipped slightly from last week, as the show averaged 2.76 million viewers and a 0.92 rating in the 18-49 demo, never getting above 3 million in any hour, and most disturbingly, dropping precipitously for the third hour, losing 300k viewers from the start of the evening. Overall, Raw finished fifth among original cable programming for the night.

Hourly Breakdown

Hour 1 (8-9 PM): 2.93 million viewers, 0.95 demo rating
Hour 2 (9-10 PM): 2.71 million viewers, 0.89 demo rating
Hour 3 (10-11 PM + overrun): 2.63 million viewers, 0.92 demo rating
