Conor McGregor: “I Stole Vince McMahon’s Millionaire Walk, It’s Mine Now”

Conor McGregor is anything but humble.

Despite having an outlandish personality that seems more suitable for professional wrestling than mixed martial arts, McGregor seems to have little respect for the WWE or its owner. After he started mimicking Vince McMahon’s exaggerated “millionaire strut,” some sports commentators began calling it the “Conor McGregor Walk.” We dutifully pointed out how wrong that was.

Apparently McGregor doesn’t read Goliath, though.

During his sit down interview with MMA reporter Ariel Helwani on the weekend, McGregor took jabs at ol’ Vinny Mac, saying that he had claimed ownership of the iconic strut for himself.

“I’m thinking Vince McMahon must be p*ssed,” McGregor said. “I don’t give a f**k about Vince McMahon. I stole that walk and that walk is now mine. Not Vince or any of those F**ks over in the WWE will do anything about it. That’s my walk. I created that walk. I made that walk.”

We’re not sure how someone can both “steal” and “create” a gesture at the same time, but if anyone is capable, it’s probably McGregor.

Even though McGregor seems to have animosity towards the WWE (he previously called out the entire roster on Twitter), there are plenty of rumors that he will appear at WrestleMania, possibly as early as this year. It’s something that McGregor even confirmed in the same interview.

You know, it almost sounds like McGregor will say anything to keep his name in the headlines. Oh wait, it worked again. Oh well. Until next time, UFC fans!
