Brock Lesnar Fails Second Drug Test, UFC Career Likely Over

While the fallout from Brock Lesnar being flagged by the USADA for a potential out-of-competition drug test failure is still yet to be determined, it received some damning confirmation this week, when UFC revealed that Lesnar had been flagged yet again, this time for his in-competition test, which took place on the night of UFC 200. In both cases, Lesnar reportedly tested positive for an estrogen blocker, which is the same banned substance that saw Jon Jones suspended prior to UFC 200. It seems very likely that Lesnar will be suspended from competing in MMA for a minimum of two years due to these multiple failures, and given his age, it’s almost certain that his fighting career is over.

However, it appears as if even this second failure will not affect Lesnar’s scheduled SummerSlam match with Randy Orton, as WWE continued to promote the bout on Smackdown, and Lesnar was included as part of the WWE Draft, being picked 8th overall by the Raw brand.
