For the first time since Goldberg eliminated Brock Lesnar at the 2017 Royal Rumble, the two met face-to-face inside a WWE ring on Monday night. This time there was the added twist of Goldberg carrying the Universal Title on his shoulder after beating Kevin Owens for the belt at Fastlane.
Goldberg came to the ring to thank the fans for supporting his return to wrestling after so many years away from the business. We was about to reveal “something he’d never said before,” when Paul Heyman interrupted him. Heyman offered his congratulations and told Goldberg that Lesnar wanted to shake his hand in person. The two made their way to ring and, because this is pro wrestling, things quickly turned south.

So much for that friendly handshake. Lesnar dished out a vicious F-5 instead. The Beast Incarnate will attempt to finally get his revenge on Goldberg at WrestleMania. Goldberg already holds victories over Lesnar from WrestleMania 20 and the 2016 Survivor Series.
