Another Inductee for 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Announced

Prior to Raw, the third inductee for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class was revealed by Rolling Stone, joining Sting and The Godfather as 2016 inductees. After a long wait, The Fabulous Freebirds, a legendary team from World Class Championship Wrestling and WCW consisting of Michael “P.S.” Hayes, Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy, Buddy “Jack” Roberts, and Jimmy Garvin, will be inducted this April on the night before WrestleMania. Hayes, of course, has been a long-time force on WWE’s Creative team over the years, while Gordy passed away in 2001 from a heart attack, and Roberts died in 2012 from pneumonia. Garvin, who joined the original three later in the group’s life, is retired and out of the wrestling business entirely.

Congratulations to the Freebirds on their much-deserved induction!
