The Goliath Podcast #23 – Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Justice League, And Should You Mod Your SNES Classic?

In the latest edition of The Goliath Podcast, Charlie Rogers (SeeJayAre) finally returns from a three-week stint in Croatia and joins Nick and Riley for a discussion of the biggest movie and gaming news of the past week!

Kicking things off, the boys jump into a discussion of the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer and whether or not it gives too much away. From there, a brief chat about the new Justice League trailer leads into Nick waxing poetic about one of his favorite movies of the year: Blade Runner 2049, which neither Charlie or Riley bothered to go see (though they promise they will ASAP).

Moving into gaming, the big topic of discussion is once again the SNES Classic Edition, which Charlie managed to hack. It’s not all Nintendo talk however, as the controversial topic of Loot Boxes in games like Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Star Wars Battlefront II comes up and it’s safe to say that Goliath team isn’t a fan of these awful microtransactions coming up in full-priced games.
