The ongoing feud between rapper B.o.B. and famous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, which is both hilariously entertaining and depressingly sad, has reached peak levels.
After B.o.B. dropped a conspiracy-laden diss track entitled “Flatline” where he skewers Tyson’s scientific knowledge, Tyson’s camp has hit back. No, the 57-year old scientist didn’t hit the recording studio and spit hot fire himself. His nephew did it for him.
Dear @bobatl, as an astrophysicist I don’t rap, but I know people who do. This one has my back: https://t.co/BbMi4tzHLz

Steve Tyson, who performs under the name “Tyson,” dropped the second diss track this feud has seen in as many days. The track includes his more famous uncle reading some of his tweets aloud.
I woke up not expecting to write a track about a flat Earth. But some days are full of surprises, I guess…

Borrowing from Drake’s “Back to Back”, 2015’s most famous diss track, Tyson drops some knowledge on B.o.B. and his flat Earth craziness with “Flat to Fact.”
Twitter had a field day with Tyson’s response. Guess that’s what happens when science and rap beefs mix. Personally, we can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings. Will B.o.B. respond? We can only hope.
