WONDER WOMAN Hits $400M Domestically At The Box Office

In what shouldn’t come as a surprise, Warner Bros. massive hit, Wonder Woman, just surpassed $400 million domestically at the box office. This places the movie alongside some of highest earning films in North American history, a mark that only 27 films (now including Wonder Woman) have reached thus far. Pretty impressive, eh?

As a matter of fact, this is only the third time a Warner Bros. film has grossed more than $400 million – the other two being The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. When you consider that this was the first female-lead superhero movie in more than a decade, director Patty Jenkins should be applauded for breaking the mold and should be given the greenlight on any project she wants to make moving forward. Let’s hope it’s Wonder Women 2.
