With less than two months to go until Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released two very different trailers for the film to get the marketing machine revved up now that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has come and gone (and made a ton of money in the process).
Here’s the domestic trailer:
And here’s the international one:
I like that both of these trailers have a very different feel. The domestic preview highlights Spider-Man’s (Tom Holland) awesome Tony Stark-designed suit and all its nifty gadgets, while the international trailer kicks off with a home movie feel as we see Spidey recording himself during the events of Captain America: Civil War (complete with a great Happy Hogan cameo at the end).
We also learn quite a bit more about Michael Keaton’s Vulture and his villainous scheme, which involves re-purposing weapons technology left behind by the Avengers in their various scraps, as well as some sort of scheme to take down Tony Stark and Stark Industries.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is out July 7th. Do these trailers have you pumped for the film or is this a Marvel Studios flick you want to pass on? Sound off in the comments below!
