Despite their previous big budget ventures of Batman V. Superman and Suicide Squad getting hammered by critics (although still making tons of money at the box office), the DC Comics Cinematic Universe rolls on.
The next film to join the shared fictional space will be Wonder Woman, which hits theaters next summer. Starring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman herself, along with Chris Pine as a WWI fighter pilot, the movie travels back in time to the 1910s. Warner Bros. released the first full length trailer today, and we have to say, it looks pretty damn good.
The premise is that Diana of Themyscira aka Wonder Woman has been living on a sheltered island paradise, unaware of the rest of the planet. When Pine’s plane crash lands, Diana saves him and learns that the entire world is engaging in an all out war, which she then pledges to help stop.
