Alien: Covenant

The New ‘Alien: Covenant’ Trailer Makes Xenomorphs Scary Again

It’s been a long time since the Alien franchise delivered a good scare, let alone a good film, but if the new trailer for Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant is any indication, we could be in for both when the latest Alien film is released this May.

Sure, it looks like most of the Xenomorphs (and other creatures) in the film are CGI, which is a little disappointing, but it also allows for awesome shots such as an Alien hammering the hell out of the ship Danny McBride’s character is flying, so maybe this isn’t such a bad thing. The tone definitely seems right and if Scott can avoid the plotting mistakes that held Prometheus back from greatness, we could very well have the best Alien installment since 1986’s Aliens on our hands.

Prepare to hear everyone in the audience scream when Alien: Covenant hits theaters on May 19.
