The ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot May Have Landed A ‘Game of Thrones’ Star

Next year’s Ghostbusters reboot is primarily female-driven, featuring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones are the core team, but now it looks like a popular male member of the Game of Thrones cast has a role alongside them.

We’ve already known for awhile that Chris Hemsworth will be the main male member of the Ghostbusters cast, but it looks like English actor Charles Dance, who you may remember as the nefarious Tywin Lannister from the hit HBO series, could be joining him. According to Inverse’s sources, Dance has a role in the film, but Sony Pictures has declined to elaborate on who he’s playing. The safe money would be on some sort of villainous role (since Dance does those so well) but we won’t know for sure until the first trailer lands at least.

At least there’s one thing we do know: Bill Murray will be making a cameo. That’s always nice.

Ghostbusters is being directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Spy) and is set for release on July 16, 2016.
