It looks like Batman v Superman is going to be just as overstuffed with characters as we all thought it might be after all.
We’ve known for awhile that characters such as Cyborg and The Flash have been cast and while it’s been rumored that they would turn up in Batman v Superman, it’s hasn’t been confirmed until now whether it would be that movie or 2017’s Justice League that would actually introduce them. Thanks to EW’s Anthony Breznican, we can now put those rumors to rest.
Breznican, who has actually seen the upcoming DC cinematic universe-launching film, is quoted as saying that, “There are other characters, like Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg who turn up in kind of smaller roles, more cameo oriented.”
This news confirms that Ezra Miller’s Flash and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg figure into Batman v Superman in some form or another. The only question now is whether more heroes show up in addition to the ones Breznican mentions. Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter? We’ll just have to wait to see when the film hits theaters March 25.
