STAR WARS: New Playset Seems To Reveal How Tall Supreme Leader Snoke Really Is

Star Wars: The Force Awakens may have retreaded a lot of the same story beats as A New Hope, but it did introduce a lot of new characters and plot details for fans to speculate over. One of the most mysterious new characters that people have been trying to make sense of ever since The Force Awakens came out is the First Order’s Supreme Leader Snoke, Kylo Ren’s bald-headed master who appears to be strong in the Dark Side of the Force.

Snoke only appears in hologram form in the movie, where he’s projected to appear much larger than he actually is. Still, it’s clear that Snoke is some sort of alien creature, so fans have wondered what his true size is in comparison to humans. While it shouldn’t be taken as canon, the answer to that question may lie with a new BB-8 toy of all things.

First reported by ComicBook, Instagram user NewsFromJakku got access to a tie-in BB-8 playset for Star Wars: The Last Jedi that unfolds into a First Order throne room. The whole thing looks quite similar to the Emperor’s throne room from Return of the Jedi (it even comes complete with a Praetorian guard!) but the really interesting thing is that the set features figures of both a guard and Snoke … and Snoke is huge!

Assuming that the Praetorian guard is at least the size of your average human, this puts Snoke at about the same height as Chewbacca. Is Snoke just a shaved Wookie who likes to wear bath robes? Whatever he is, it’s clear that he is an imposing figure even outside of his hologram form. As for who he is, the jury’s still out on that question, but we still think there’s a decent chance of him being Darth Plagueis, since that character has yet to be introduced in the new canon. Hopefully we’ll find out the answer when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15.
