STAR WARS 8: John Boyega Confirms Tom Hardy’s Cameo

In a recent interview with BBC Radio4, John Boyega spoke about reprising his breakout role in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi and upon being asked, let it be known that both Prince William and Harry shot small cameos for the film, along with another British celebrity:

“I’ve had enough with those secrets. They came on set. They were there. I’m sick of hiding it. I think it was leaked, anyway. There were images. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. I’m tired of dodging it. They were there. So was Tom Hardy.”

At this point Hardy’s role, along with William and Harry, is unknown, but if we’ve learned anything from the previous films, it’s that Lucasfilm likes secret cameos – case in point, Daniel Craig’s surprise appearance as a stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

What are your thoughts on the celebrity cameos? Do you think Hardy’s role will be a small one, or is possible that the rumor surrounding him playing fan favorite, Boba Fett, is actually true? Let us know in the comments below.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled for a December 22 release.
