If you don’t want to know what happens, you should probably stop reading now. Heavy spoilers to follow!
Okay, so according to the report, the mid-credits sequence revolves around Asgard and sees Doctor Strange meeting up with Thor to discuss the God of Thunder’s brother Loki. Thor tells Strange that they need Loki in order to find his father Odin and Strange offers to help, but only if he and Loki don’t set foot on Earth ever again. Clearly, this is setting up events for Thor: Ragnarok and seems to confirm earlier reports that Strange is involved in that film’s plot.
The second post-credits sequence appears to hint at a potential Doctor Strange sequel. We see Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Mordo confront Benjamin Bratt’s character Jonathan Pangborn, who uses magic earlier in the film to cure his own paralysis. Mordo tells Pangborn “There are too many sorcerers” and proceeds to violently steal his magical powers, seemingly setting up Mordo’s transition to true villainy in the next film.
Doctor Strange releases Nov. 4th.
