Spider-Man: Homecoming is not only the best Spider-Man movie I have ever seen, I think it might be one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best films yet. It highlights everything that has always made Spider-Man one of Marvel’s greatest superheroes — the perfect combination of action and comedy.
While I don’t want to spoil anything, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t give a brief breakdown. So here we go. Spider-Man: Homecoming is a coming of age story that starts right were Captain America: Civil War finishes off. Now that the fight is over (for now), Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, is struggling to juggle his two identities. Luckily for him, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is there to guide him in the right direction. Only one problem. What do all teenagers have in common? They don’t listen. So… after sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong, the web-slinger finds himself tangled up with his greatest adversary yet — The Vulture, played by Michael Keaton. Cue the battle sequence.
