Norman Reedus Would Love To Play A Certain Marvel Character

If you watch The Walking Dead (or the new AMC series Ride With Me), then you’re probably aware that Norman Reedus loves motorcycles. The guy not only goes out of his way to ride one in the zombie apocalypse when it is in no way a good option, but he even has his own TV show devoted to exploring motorcycle culture. So with that in mind, it’s hardly surprising that the actor wants to play Ghost Rider.

Now that the film rights have reverted back to Marvel, it’s likely  that we’ll see someone other than Nicolas Cage play the character at some point and Reedus has thrown his hat into the ring.

“Hell yeah. It would be a blast,” Reedus said when asked if he would be interested in the role. “Do I get a skull face that’s on fire and all that stuff? F–k yeah. I’m down.”

There have been rumors that Marvel has plans to develop a Ghost Rider TV series for Netflix at some point. We don’t want to tell them how to do their jobs, but it looks like they already have a willing soul to play the fiery, chain-wielding hell rider. Hiring Reedus would be cost-effective too, since he’d probably supply all his own bikes!
