Marvel Just Revealed The First Film In Their Phase 4 Plan

Marvel is just about to kick off Phase 3 of their Cinematic Universe with Captain America: Civil War, but the company is already looking ahead to the next wave of films. We know that Phase 3 will end with Avengers” Infinity War – Part 2 hits in May 2019, but Marvel has yet to officially announce which projects will be part of Phase 4 other than the pushed back Inhumans. While not an official announcement, we now have confirmation as to what one of those Phase 4 films will be thanks to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

In an interview with io9, Feige let slip that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will be one of the films in Marvel’s next batch:

“We’re only working on what’s been announced through the end of 2019. And it is still a big chess board for 2020 and beyond, but certainly I would say Guardians 3 is one film that’s up there. I don’t know what exactly the order will be.”

Well, at least we now know that some members of the Guardians make it out of Infinity War alright. Although, we’d kind of like to know when (if) we’ll be getting a Black Widow movie…
