It Looks Like ‘LOGAN’ Won’t Have A Post-Credits Scene After All

Logan director James Mangold has flat out denied reports that the film has a post-credits scene.

Taking to Twitter yesterday to address the issue, Mangold replied to a fan asking if the reported scene was something the director wanted to include from the beginning, saying “There is not a post-credits scene.”

Speculation of Logan having a post-credits scene first surfaced earlier this week when it was reported that 20th Century Fox added an additional three minutes to the theatrical release’s runtime. It remains unclear just what those three minutes entail but they definitely have nothing to do with Deadpool, as Mangold has also denied rumors that the character would appear at the end of Logan, humorously claiming it was “fake news” in a tweet back in December.

Even without a post-credits scene, Logan is likely to do just fine when it releases on March 3, as the film has received overwhelmingly positive reviews so far.
