Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently wrapping up filming in Liberec, Czech Republic and thanks to a new video, we now have our first look at Jake Gyllenhaal in costume as the villain Mysterio.

It looks like this scene comes from a climactic battle between Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Mysterio, as evidenced by the flaming debris that surrounds the area. Interestingly, Gyllenhaal isn’t wearing the classic fishbowl helmet here and there are several possible reasons for this. This version of the character could end up having no helmet to speak of or he’s just taken it off for this particular scene. There’s also the possibility that the helmet is going to be a CGI creation added in post.

Then again, Gyllenhaal technically hasn’t been officially confirmed to be playing Mysterio, so there’s a possibility that he’s playing an entirely different character here. That being said, the costume’s colors seem to point toward Mysterio so until Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures says otherwise, we’re just going to move ahead with the assumption that this is the character Gyllenhaal is playing.
Spider-Man: Far From Home’s theatrical release is still a ways off but with filming wrapping up soon, we’re sure to hear more news soon as we inch closer to the film’s July 5, 2019 release date.

Ranking Every Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie From Worst To Best
Now in its third phase, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) remains one of, if not the most, engaging franchise in blockbuster filmmaking. With a whopping 20 films now released under the MCU banner, it’s a good time to take a look back and figure out which Marvel film is truly the best.
Here are our rankings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe rankings in ascending order from worst to best.
