James Bond

Daniel Craig To Continue Playing Bond After Spectre

Remember all that talk about Idris Elba stepping in to fill Daniel Craig’s shoes as the next James Bond? Well forget it, because Craig says he’s sticking around.

In a recent interview published by The Daily Mail, Craig was quick to remind everyone that he is still under contract to work at least one more Bond film.

“It’s getting harder. But such is life. I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able. I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions.”

“These movies don’t get made very often,” he says. “It’s just the fourth time for me, a spit in the ocean. If you don’t get excited about making a movie of this size with this cast, with Sam Mendes… then go home.”

The “physically able” part could be a big factor in Craig’s future potential as Bond. He is already 47-years old suffered a knee injury while filming SPECTRE that he needed surgery to repair. The next Bond movie (after SPECTRE) will be the 25th in the series, so it should be a special one featuring Craig’s last appearance as the famous spy.

Unless they offer him a truck load of money to do some more.
