Sony has announced that Star Wars Battlefront will be getting a virtual reality adaptation for the company’s PlayStation VR headset.
Andrew House, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO, made the announcement during the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, but details were minimal. House said that the VR adaptation will be crafted by DICE, the developers behind last year’s edition of the game released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

While criticized for its lack of content and shallow design, Star Wars Battlefront received praise for its high production values and recreation of iconic Star Wars moments, so it should make for an exciting first-round PlayStation VR experience, especially if it’s exclusive to Sony’s hardware.
