Unsuspecting Chatroulette Users Play Real-Life First Person Zombie Video Game

You probably know about Chatroulette. It’s a website that connects you to a random internet stranger via video, which is both cool and often terrifying. In case you’re wondering, yes, you will encounter a LOT of nudity. It’s just one of the hazards of using the internet.

This creative group of people known as Realm Pictures decided to make things way more interesting though. By putting a camera on an actor in first-person view, they were able to create a playable first person shooter for their random Chatroulette matches.

Using friends dressed as zombies and hiding Nerf guns around their property, plus a team of six people doing the behind the scenes visual and sound effects, they made a perfect real-life video game.

We want to play!

You can check out a behind the scenes video of the project here, which details exactly how they put everything together.
