‘Star Wars Battlefront’ May Finally Be Getting Single Player Content

When Star Wars Battlefront launched last November, one of the biggest criticisms leveled against it was its lack of offline content, as the game only offered a few shallow modes to play for those who didn’t wish to play online.  But that may be about to change.

A Reddit user by the name of uninspired_zebra has posted some findings that suggest that an offline Instant Action mode will be added to the game in a future update. Here’s a Youtube video showing hidden menus for offline versions of Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron:

Ostensibly, players will be able to play both of these modes offline alone or in split-screen against bots. However, it is important to remember that none of this has been confirmed by EA.

Star Wars Battlefront just released its second of four planned paid DLC packs yesterday, featuring the Cloud City of Bespin and Lando Calrissian. Assuming EA is adding Instant Action to the game, it would likely be as a free update (at least, one hopes).
