Sony Reveals Price, Release Date For ‘Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was one of the best games of 2016 and while it will be a while before we see another full Uncharted experience again, we at least have an all new chapter in the popular PlayStation series just on the horizon to tide us over.

Sony has announced that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a side story expansion of sorts for Uncharted 4, will launch on PS4 August 22, 2017 for $39.99 ($49.99 CAD). Starring returning characters Chloe and Nadine, developer Naughty Dog is touting The Lost Legacy as a true Uncharted game, in the sense that it will be a full-featured experience “with its own deep narrative with complex character development, all-new destinations, refined gameplay, and blockbuster cinematic moments.”

Along with a new trailer, Sony has also announced that anyone who pre-orders The Lost Legacy at participating retailers will receive a free copy of another Naughty Dog game, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, which is being released as a PS2 Classic on PS4 on August 22. Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will also receive an Uncharted: The Lost Legacy PS4 theme designed by Truant Pixel.

With the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy also on the way this summer, 2017 is shaping up to be a great year for anyone who loves Naughty Dog games!
