Fresh off a dominating victory at the Manila Major, where they became the first DOTA 2 team to win two Valve Majors, OG absolutely steam-rolled the competition in Frankfurt, Germany, to claim the ESL One tournament as well. The international squad dropped only a single map the entire tournament, including a crushing 3-0 victory in the Grand Finals which saw them destroy their opponents, Na’Vi, with a series of increasingly unusual drafts.
With the win, OG takes home over $155,000, to go along with the $1.1 million they earned at Manila. Their next and final stop before The International 6 (which they received a direct invite to immediately after ESL One) will be the Summit 5 LAN in July.
For second place at ESL One, Na’Vi took down roughly $62,000. European favorites Team Liquid and underdog CIS team Vega Squadron earned a share of 3rd/4th place, and about $28,000.
