Pre-orders went up today in North America for the Super NES Classic Edition, which goes on sale this September and as expected, it’s been a complete mess, with pretty much every retailer selling out within minutes. Making matters even worse for the many fans out there who have yet to secure a pre-order, Nintendo has revealed some of the new features they’re adding to the console through a cool retro-themed trailer.
The two big features worth mentioning are a rewind system (a la Rare Replay) which will allow players to instantly reattempt particularly challenging sections of the SNES Classic’s 21 included titles and “Suspend Point,” which allows users to backup save data at any time.
The Super NES Classic is out on September 29, 2017. Hopefully those who want one will actually be able to!
