Electronic Arts Announces New Plans For E3

Surprising news out of one of the gaming industry’s biggest developers, as Electronic Arts has announced that they will not be attending the annual E3 conference. While they will still be taking private meetings at the event, there will not be a press conference or the traditional massive EA booth at E3. Instead, EA announced that they will be hosting their own event, called EA Play. This new event is currently scheduled for June 12-14 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, and will feature a press conference addressing upcoming releases and projects, similar to what they used to do at E3.
