It’s that time of year. Autumn is upon us and that means the world’s leading automotive manufacturers are rolling out their new 2017 models. From redesigned sport utility vehicles to new compact-sized trucks and sports cars that are taking luxury to a whole new level, the 2017 model vehicles have a lot of auto industry experts, journalists and consumers excited. And among all the cars, trucks, and other vehicles on display at auto shows across North America, there are a number of vehicles that are considered especially hot right now. To help keep you in the know about what’s peaking people’s interest, here is a list of the 10 hottest vehicles for 2017.
10. Chevy Bolt
Granted, this isn’t the sexiest car on the list. But the 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, which is an all-electric car, has a lot to offer and has been impressing reviewers over the past few months with its mix of battery life, speed, and handling. With their eyes squarely on rival electric car maker Tesla, Chevrolet has pumped a lot of money into making the Bolt a reliable and competitive electric car. A subcompact hatchback, the Chevy Bolt can travel 200 miles on a single battery charge. That’s about twice the range of most current electric vehicles. It can also reach top speeds of 91 miles per hour – again, impressive for an electric car. Add in some great handling and an interior that features a sweet navigation system designed to plot optimum routes for the battery powered car, and a rearview mirror that is actually an LED screen that displays a wide-angle rearview camera shot, and the Chevy Bolt earns a spot on this hot cars list.
